I’m working today and unsure if I will have time to get an image shot today.. This is one from a month ago.. was trying out some idea I saw from a scene in a movie or TV show. Can’t quite remember now.
Well.. uploading 1 image a day already proved to be a bit difficult. I went to PA last week and then had to work all weekend. I did upload them except albeit short one day to flickr.. you can see the set here..
It has been pretty crazy over the last week but its been a good crazy. I don’t see it letting up till after Christmas so if I’m lagging on my blogging this is why.

Day three of 12 days of Christmas.. this isn’t so bad.. it will be tricky however when I leave for PA tomorrow to get Hayley.. I”ll be gone for two days but I still need to find a way to post.. I think I can do it..
Something happened yesterday that reminded me that there are good and kind people out there. I went looking in my wallet yesterday morning for a check I had been given. I wanted to cash it that morning. I couldn’t find the check, I went thru my whole wallet, thru my bag. Nothing. I tried to remember where and how I could have lost it. I normally don’t lose money.. I hold it dear to me.. I did remember I had went to Hannford to do grocery shopping the day before and if I had lost it, it had to have been there as it was the only place I was. Mind you this check was already signed and I had no hope that if someone had found the check it would have been turned in. The check was for $100.00 and it is what I’m using to go get Hayley with so I really needed this money. I called the store and after a few minutes of searching, sure enough they had it. Someone had found it in the check out lane and turned it in. I can’t even begin to tell you how relieved I was to hear this. Not only because I desperately needed the money but.. it gave me hope and faith that there really are honest people still left in this world. So thank you to whom it was that turned my check in. It truly meant more then the monetary value.

Like most people I have a facebook account. It’s been nice to catch up with old friends and people I’ve not spoken to in years upon years. However I’ve decided to give facebook a break. I guess I need my life back to myself and not need to see what other people are doing. Its a kind of voyeurism that isn’t what I need right now. There’s been a lot going on recently and while I try to keep some things private they have a way of becoming public even if not overtly. I need to look inward and not judge myself by what other people may or may not say about me or my status or if someone else refers to me in their status and then the comments they leave there. I also found I would compare myself sometimes to what other people were doing or saying about themselves.. it wasn’t intentional but we all do this to some degree its just on facebook its more in your face. I’m not sure how long it will last.. maybe one day.. a week.. month or more.. but I think in order to work on what’s inside its best to stop needing validation from the outside as it can skew perception and give a false reality.
I hope I haven’t offended anyone.. it wasn’t my intention. This is just what I need to do for me.

I”ve decided to upload one image a day in the spirit of Christmas. It will be the 12 days of Christmas. I may upload other images in between but the goal or dare I say challenge is to upload at least one per day. I’ve seen other people on flickr do this for many types of projects. Figured starting with something small such as 12 days would be good..
So.. here is day 1 of 12.. Beansy not looking very happy in the Santa hat. I had to take quite a few as he would not sit still. I realized his eyes are not in focus. only his nose.. ah well..
