Autumn Splendor Day II…

Some of you know that I am a huge fan of the color red.. the deeper and richer it is the more I am drawn to it. This also includes reds in fall foliage and one of the best things about the foliage is that there are so many different ranges of red hues right now that I am constantly in awe of Nature’s magic.

It’s fascinating to me to see all the facets of this gorgeous color.. especially when the golden Autumn light envelops it.

Then there is the treasure you come across when you see one single red leaf all by it’s lonesome but showing off magnificently just the same.

And last but not least the red leaf that hasn’t quite let go of it’s summer’s green which makes the ensuing mottled look pretty unique and impressive.

I’ll be sad when all these dazzling colors have passed but I feel like this year more then any other I have really seen and enjoyed them. For that I am grateful.

Enjoy your Saturday and I will be back tomorrow with another Autumn Splendor installment.

~ peace ~
