I’m on my fourth day of walking and I think I’m starting to feel better.. both pyshically and emotionally. I usally walk about 30-40 min’s which for now doesn’t seem like much but it makes me pretty tired by the end.. and so for now this is what I will do and what I need to do.
This morning was such a beautiful morning to walk. I walked in the Vaughn’s woods again. I am always amazed at how different these same woods can look on a day to day basis. Everything from the way the light hits the trees such as the photo above to raindrops that look like stars on the tiniest blades of grass. Certain berries and or flowers that weren’t there yesterday are suddenly there today. Or.. maybe I just missed them yesterday or two days ago. I was concerned I would get bored but I am finding there is something new and beautiful to discover every day.. and that realization doesn’t just apply to these woods.
Here are some more from my walk today..
These walks are really one of the the best therapies I’ve come across..
until next time..

You are right walking is one of the best therapies..It keeps you mobilized..

Janet.. anyway I can help you out.. I’m sure Winnie loves it also
Gillian thank you so much.. I really appreciate it
Everything is so beautifully observed. I love the way you caught the light through the trees, the backlit droplets on the grasses, the reclusive Indian Pipe… they are all treasures, all tiny perfect miracles. Wishing you more beauty, more perfect surprises, more miracles!
I’ve reread this blog about daily walking multiple times. It inspires me to get out and walk, even if only for 15 min. Winnie (the Boston terrier) thinks it’s great. Thank you for keeping me on task.
YOM
hugs back to you Mikey
Walking is good for the body, mind and spirit — especially walking in the lovely woods you have nearby! A very special treat, indeed, and always something new to be discovered and enjoyed! *Hugs*
