I love these late summer afternoons when the sunlight is low in the sky just a couple of hours before sunset. Sometimes there is that haze in fields from the glow the sun gives everything at this time of day. I had been wanting to get some shots of these Queen Anne’s Lace for sometime now but the light just wasn’t right. I was driving home from Portland last week and it was this special time of day. I had seen many spots to take some images but for one reason or another couldn’t pull over. I knew if I was patient enough the perfect opportunity would present it self. And it finally did, I was able to stop and take these beautiful images about 10 minutes from home.
Patience does pay off.. something I need to remember especially right now when it’s waning.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
~ peace ~
