I found this nest while walking one day while on break at work last week. It appears to be empty due to the fact there was snow covering it up and it was the afternoon. There is something about nests that I love. I’m not sure if its due to the fact that it is all made by hand or I should say beak. Maybe because it houses birds which I am all too fond of. Could be the shape which is usually circular and reminds me that all things come back around. It also appears to be a fairly simple piece of construction yet so strong. Whatever the reason these wonderful creations stir something inside of me.
I do hope the nest gets used again at some point. Now that I know it’s there I may try to visit it every once in a while to see how it is fairing.
