Yesterday I went for a walk at the Maine Arboretum. I wasn’t out for too long due to the frigid temps but was able to get some nice shots of winter foliage.

I came upon this small tree and loved the pussy willow like buds on this beauty. They were a soft green.. such a pretty color. As I stepped back from the image on the left I turned around and came face to face with this delicate nest. I couldn’t believe it! I felt so lucky and so thankful to have been able to come across it. I think I will start a set soon just for nests..
